Is Your Version of Windows 10 Compliant?

Published On: September 11th, 2020Categories: Business Technology, Compliance, Software Updates

If you are an organization that needs to keep any sort of compliance (i.e. HIPAA, GLBA or PCI) you will need to pay attention to the version of Windows 10 your computers are running.   In the past we have shared information about Windows XP and Windows 7 coming to the end of support, which can make you non compliant. Microsoft has now officially changed how they update Windows 10 so that you are running the most recent version which ensures that you are running a supported version.   Microsoft has officially announced an extended support for version 1803 until November 10th for both Enterprise and Education editions.  Therefore, if you have not updated yet we recommend updating now so there is no disruption in your compliance.
